About Us
Drumlin Woodworks began with a simple idea: to mill and dry locally sourced logs for custom woodworking projects and fellow craftsmen. Over time, the vision grew, and our workshop evolved to include a 25” planer, 16” jointer, sliding table saw, and a 6’x14’ CNC machine—tools that allow us to bring almost any woodworking idea to life.
In 2023, Rich and Kelli (his partner in all the things) purchased her family farm where the shop now sits. Together, they refurbished a 40-year-old shed and turned it into the workshop that now hums with saws, planers, and creativity.
Meet Rich
Rich has been building with wood for more than 30 years—tables, cabinets, stools, desks… you name it. Before spending years in manufacturing, he earned a degree in physics and an MBA in operations. That mix of curiosity, problem-solving, and practicality shows up in every piece he makes.
Transitioning from a professional life behind a desk to one spent behind a sawmill or planer, he has fully embraced the sawdust-covered side of life. Woodworking has always been his constant—his favorite way to unwind, create, and stay grounded.
Urban Lumber & Local Materials
Rich is committed to working with urban and locally sourced lumber. Much of the wood he mills comes from nearby neighborhoods—trees that might otherwise be chipped or discarded. Giving these logs a second life is deeply satisfying. After all, if a tree has spent decades growing, why not transform it into something built to last just as long?
